Day 01 :- Delhi – Shimla (345 Kms/08 Hrs)

Arrival at Delhi, get a grand reception by our representative, drive to Shimla, on arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure time and visit mall road and shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. The town Shimla built in the nineteenth century when the Gurkha Wars came to an end. In 1864 the Viceroy, John Lawrence anointed Shimla, as the summer capital of British India. With Lawrence came the Viceroy Council, the Imperial Secretariat, representatives of the Indian princes and foreign envoys. As the town grew to become the workshop of the Empire, an reverential visitor observed, every pigeonhole cradled an embryo of a war or death. Despite the fact that up to the time of Indian independence in 1947, Shimla officially remained only the summer capital, yet the Government spent more time in these hills.

 

Day 02: Shimla –Kufri – Shimla

After breakfast visit to half day city tour visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu temple, Afternoon visit to excursion tour of Kufri & Chail, Kufri :a popular ski resort in winters, which offers some stunning mountain views , Later drive to Chail: The Chail Palace is well known for its architecture. The cricket ground and a polo ground which is there at an altitude of 2,444 m was owned by erstwhile royal family of Patiala. It is the world's highest cricket ground. In 1891, Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala incurred the rage of Lord Kitchener.

 

Day 03: Shimla - Manali (280 kms/ 7 hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel, drive to Manali,

Manali : at the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, is a hill station situated at a height of 2050 m (6398 ft) in the Himalayas. Situated on the Beas river (Vyaas in Hindi) and near its source, it is a popular tourist spot for Indians in summer and a magical, snow-covered place in winter. A staging point for a number of treks (Beas Kund, Chandrakhani Pass) and sports such as white-water rafting, Manali is also on the road to Ladakh via the valley of Lahaul and Spiti and rohtang pass which is main attraction near Manali.

 

Day 04: Manali – Solang Valley – Manali

After early breakfast visit to excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) Carry warm clothes like hand gloves, muffler, sweater, shawl, socks & sports shoes etc. Enroute overcoats and shoes are available on hire. Please note that Rohtang Pass (altitude 3940 mts.) is actually 51 kms. far from Manali, due to heavy snow covering the road, this pass is not accessible during heavy snow fall for Snow Point, and Solang Valley. Overnight stay at hotel at Manali.

 

Day 05: Manali Local Sightseeing

After breakfast visit to city tour. Visiting Hadimba temple, the 450 years old Hadimba Devi Temple, the oldest temple in Manali, Vashisht Temple, Manu temple and picturesque Naggar Valley. Evening you can enjoy at mall road, later back to hotel, Free for leisure. overnight stay at hotel at Manali.

 

Day 06: Manali - Dharamshala (230 kms / 06 hrs drive)

After Breakfast check out from Manali hotel  & Transfer by road to Dharamshala Enroute visit KULLU VALLEY enjoy Rafting in the Beas River, Kullu market, Kullu Shawl factories and sale outlets, Angora Farm, Vaishno Mata Temple  and Parvati river. After that drive to Dharamshala the principal township of the Kangra Valley region and is magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains. Check into the Hotel & day is free for leisure you can visit nearby Market places by own. Overnight stay is at hotel in Dharamshala.

 

Day 07 : Dharamshala Local Sightseeing to Dalhousie

Morning leave for Dalhousie Today full day excursion visiting Chamunda Devi & Kangra Devi Temple - these temples are one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. Also visit Kangra Town. Later visit the Tibetan monastery in McLeod Ganj (upper Dharamshala) a seat of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama. Later drive to Dalhousie for dinner & overnight stay.

 

Day 08 : Dalhousie Local Sightseeing

After Breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Flow through a mesmerizing experience. The vast emerald green meadow of Khajjiar with its thick forested slopes of deodhars, the stupendous mountain views from Lakkar Mandi. Return back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 09: Dalhousie – Delhi

After Breakfast check out from Hotel & drive to Delhi, On Arrival at Delhi Drop at Airport/ Railway Station for onwards Journey.
